Welcome to! I'm glad you want to hear more about our journey and the ideas behind Waves .STUDIO.

It all started when Kasper and I had to furnish our new home in Copenhagen. I was introduced to resin designs, where the material is a form of chemical resin that looks like glass, but is much more flexible and changes appearance in the light. After the first prototypes were made, I was completely sold on the material. It was exciting, gave the room an edge and more soul. It didn't matter if I placed the sculpture in my kitchen, living room or bedroom, it fit in, but in different ways.

The personal and unique home

It was not an easy road to arrive at the first design. We had to go through 30+ prototypes before we mastered the curing time, color and shapes of each one. All the artworks are created by hand, and therefore we can never be completely sure how they will look in the end. But it's also the whole point that your home is unique and represents you, so it made sense to make all sides different, so you have the opportunity to choose which side fits your home best.
