Our responsibility for sustainability
Use of bio-based material
Our artworks are made of bio-based resin, which is more environmentally friendly than normal resin.
In general, bio-based products are wholly or partly derived from materials of biological origin, such as plants and microorganisms. This makes our artworks more climate-friendly and sustainable. No forms of energy are used in our production, as we have prioritized letting the material harden naturally and thereby not accelerating the process with heat.
Partners
We only work with suppliers and partners within Europe who share our values of ethical production.
It is also important for us not to place many small orders with our suppliers. Instead, larger overall orders are placed for materials, for example, to reduce CO2 emissions and the use of packaging and waste during transport.
Overconsumption and production
We do not want to support Black Friday, January sales and other consumer days that unnecessarily push prices down, as we do not advocate mass production and overconsumption.
Environmentally friendly delivery
When delivering from us to you, we give our delivery partners the freedom to plan the delivery of the packages in a more environmentally friendly route plan, so that the cars do not drive unnecessary roads that pollute extra. Of this, an extra delivery day or two may occur, but this is done with consideration for environmental friendliness.
We also strive to use alternatives that are as environmentally friendly as possible. That's why we are working on delivering packages with bicycle couriers in inner Copenhagen, as our studio is located in Østerbro.
Ongoing improvements
We are constantly working to improve ourselves and have a positive impact on consumption, as well as to protect the environment as much as possible. Therefore, our initiatives will develop as better alternatives become available.
